The mission of River Hills Early Childhood Center is to provide a loving, nurturing Christian Environment for children to learn and grow. We do this by providing families with a comfortable classroom for their children to learn and play each day. We provide care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and have a full day Kindergarten. Our teachers are passionate about early childhood education and enjoy creating and implementing fun and exciting lessons each day for all of the children. We believe that learning through play is the best way to teach young children, infants through kindergarten. Our curriculum consists of all areas of development including Bible, language, science, math, blocks, sensory, outdoors, large motor, fine motor, social studies, self help, art, computers, American sign language, and Spanish. Each of our classroom teams create and implement a multitude of activities that support each of these areas. In addition to these areas the children are taught daily life lessons as well as social skills that can only be learned through group experiences. Whether children are in an infant classroom or a preschool classroom, they are learning developmental skills that they will build upon as they grow. We are committed to preparing children for each of the milestones ahead of them, the next developmental stage, social experiences, preschool readiness, and kindergarten readiness.
