Preschool 1 Teachers

Miss Susie

Miss Susie is our morning teacher in the preschool 1 room and she has been at RHECC for 10 years and has been teaching infants and toddlers before moving into the young preschool all with a smile on her face. Miss Susie enjoys watching the children learn and grow every day, especially during sensory, circle time, and art! Her favorite song choice is “Baby Bumblebee” and Jack Hartmann is sure to be on the playlist in her classroom. She loves to teach the theme “Polar Animals” and reading “Llama llama Red Pajama” is her favorite book to read. Some well known facts about Miss Susie are that she loves Nacho Cheese Doritos and her secret to being able to keep up the active children is coffee!

Miss Danielle

Miss Danielle is an aide in the preschool classroom for more than a year and typically works in the morning but also helps out throughout the day as needed. Some of her favorite teaching moments are American Sign Language, ABC’s, and singing circle time songs and doing dance a long songs. Danielle loves watching the children grow and learn things that help them in everyday life. Dr. Jean is her favorite musician and “Amen” and “I’m in the Lord’s Army” are her favorite songs. “Letters and shapes” are Miss Danielle’s favorite classroom themes and “Bad Kitty” is her favorite book. Danielle can be found snacking on Goldfish and sporting her many colored shoes in the summertime!

Miss Rachel R - Substitute

Miss Rachel R is one of our aides that works in our preschool room as well as subs as an assistant teacher when needed. She has been working with us for 2 years and finds the funny things that kids say to be her favorite part of her time in the classroom. Everyone knows that Rachel and many children love the days when Cheez Its are on the snack menu as they are a favorite. Miss Rachel loves the book “Mama Do You Love Me?” and loves the theme “Olympics” in the classroom. Greg and Steve are her first choice for music along with “Tooty Ta”. The best part of working in the classrooms of RHECC for Rachel is the parent/teacher relationships and the friendships between co-workers.
