Miss Teri
Miss Teri has been teaching for 13 years and the last 5 here at RHECC. Her favorite part of the teaching day is Learning Center time and the kids make her day! Teri is known for snacking on fruits and veggies and she loves to listen to anything “Disney”. Miss Teri’s favorite book to read is “The Little Red Hen Makes Pizza” and she loves to teach using the theme of the “Alphabet”.
Miss Sheila
Miss Sheila has been teaching at RHECC for over 4 years and finds that the great kids and families here at the center make her day. “Pinkalicious” is her favorite book and Disney music is her first choice from the playlist. She loves singing and dancing to “Shake Your Sillies Out” with the children and her favorite theme in the classroom is “art”. Sheila teaching favorites include summer activities, field trips, circle time, reading books, and learning centers. She especially enjoys being able to spend time talking to the children while at centers about the theme or just anything they want to talk about. Sheila can be found snacking on plain chips and Diet Dew!
Miss Danielle
Miss Danielle is one of our newest aides to join our team almost a year ago and currently works with our young preschool. Some of her favorite teaching moments are American Sign Language, ABC’s, and singing circle time songs and doing dance a long songs. Danielle loves watching the children grow and learn things that help them in everyday life. Dr. Jean is her favorite musician and “Amen” and “I’m in the Lord’s Army” are her favorite songs. “Letters and shapes” are Miss Danielle’s favorite classroom themes and “Bad Kitty” is her favorite book. Danielle can be found snacking on Goldfish and sporting her many colored shoes in the summertime!
Miss Jordan
Miss Jordan is our afternoon aide in the young preschool room and has been working at RHECC for almost 3 years. Outside time and just generally spending time with kids is Jordan’s favorite part the teaching day. She loves Jack Johnson and the song “Upside Down” are favorites to listen to in the classroom. Miss Jordan loves to get to know the children and watch them grow especially during the “Ocean” theme. “Rain Babies” is her favorite book to read to the children and everyone knows that Jordan has a sweet tooth for candy especially gummies!
